"I’ve been seeing Dr. Vanderwaal since 2016, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I first came to him while I was still in the military - some of my fillings had cracked from the poor work done by government dentists, and he fixed them perfectly. Even though my cavities/fillings were deep, he never hit a nerve (which would have meant a root canal - thank God!). He even came in on a Saturday to help me when I really needed it. I eventually chose to skip the military’s dental care altogether and travel to Dr. Vanderwaal’s office because I knew I could trust him to truly take care of my teeth. I’ve always had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, but Dr. Vanderwaal has a way of keeping me calm and making the whole experience so much easier. He’s patient, explains everything, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. If you’re looking for a dentist, you can trust - especially if you’ve had bad experiences before - I can’t recommend him enough. He’s also very veteran-friendly. Extremely glad he moved to Katy."
